The studio is located inside Flawless Aesthetics. Walk past nails and I am in the first door on the left and there is a seated waiting area on the right.
Access
Unfortunately, the building does not have step-free access. There is a step up to the front door and the front-of house layout is regretfully not wheelchair accessible. As I rent a room within an existing business, this is sadly beyond my control. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Age Restrictions
All clients must bring photo ID.
All piercing clients must be 16+ and available piercings are limited to:
- With photo ID only
- Ear lobe
- Nostril
- With parent present & photo ID for parent & child:
- Ear cartilage*
- Eyebrow*
- Navel*
- Septum*
*Clients under 18 must have a parent/legal guardian present and both parent and child must have photo ID. In the case of mismatching surnames, please bring a copy of the child's birth certificate/proof of guardianship.
Clients must be 18+ for all other body piercings.
Please note: Any receiving a nipple piercing must be offered a same-gender chaperone, therefore availability to book these depends on the availability for a chaperone. Please indicate your gender upon booking so this can be arranged.
Cancellation
I do not take deposits on appointments to make booking as streamlined as possible. However, cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before a scheduled appointment. Failure to cancel or attend an appointment will incur a charge of the full appointment fee. Any client that 'no shows' will be asked to pay a deposit towards future appointments.
Late Arrival
I do my best to accommodate late arrivals where possible but clients that are more than 10 minutes may need to be rescheduled. This may mean waiting longer to be seen at an opening later in the day or to a different day if necessary.

The piercing room is small and therefore only the client is permitted in the room during the piercing appointment. Exclusions only apply in the event that a guardian, carer or chaperone needs to be present.
No filming
No client is permitted to film during their appointment.
Anatomy
Some piercings (e.g. industrial piercings) are anatomy dependent, meaning they may not be able to be performed safely if the anatomy to support it is not there. We are all different and this is nothing to be ashamed of. I would rather suggest an alternative placement or turn you away than get you to pay for a piercing that won't last.

Piercing FAQs
Do you pierce children's ear lobes?
Unfortunately not. Redbridge council doesn't let me go near anyone under 16 with a needle, even for lobe piercings. That said, a needle is definitely the way to go (find out why piercing guns aren't safe here)! If you need some recommendations try Mala Piercing at Cult Classic in Romford of PiercingsByCat at the Interbellum Tattoo Lounge in Chelmsford.
Will it hurt?
Quite simply, yes. It's a needle going through your skin. The good news is it's just a quick pinch and often the anticipation is worse than the actual thing.
Can I bring my own jewellery to get pierced with?
I'm afraid not. Healing piercings require high quality body jewellery for a smooth healing process. All the jewellery used in the studio is designed specifically for body piercing and made from biocompatible materials such as implant grade titanium and solid gold before being polished to a high standard to ensure a smooth finish. You may not know what your jewellery is made of and if it will be compatible with the body's healing process. Even if you do and could be sure, it's not something that would be covered by the studio's insurance.
How long does it take to heal?
It depends what piercing you get and who you are. Everyone heals at their own rate and while there are rough guidelines I can give you, you might fall outside of that. You can't put a time on healing. That said, it's longer than most people expect (i.e. not 6 weeks)
How do I look after my new piercing?
All clients are given aftercare information and sent an aftercare guide.
